Our commitment to making the Eugenol website usable by everyone.

Eugenol Health Technologies Private Limited (“Eugenol”) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe that care should be within everyone's reach — including the way we present ourselves online.

1. Our commitment

We want everyone who visits the Eugenol website to feel looked after — able to find information, understand it, and get in touch with ease, regardless of ability, device or assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site well, not as an afterthought.

2. Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, and to align with the accessibility principles of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites where applicable.

We consider our website partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most of the standard is met, and the specific parts that are not are named honestly in "Known limitations" below, rather than folded into a blanket claim of full conformance.

3. Measures we take

To support accessibility, we take measures that include:

  • Using clear, plain language and a consistent, predictable page structure.
  • Maintaining sufficient colour contrast between text and background wherever the brand allows, and not relying on colour alone to convey meaning.
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Ensuring the site can be navigated using a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Using semantic, structured markup so that assistive technologies can interpret content correctly.
  • Respecting the reduced-motion preference for visitors who are sensitive to movement and animation.
  • Designing the site to remain usable across a range of screen sizes and devices.

4. Compatibility

Our website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and to be compatible with widely used assistive technologies, including screen readers. It is best experienced with your browser and assistive technology kept up to date. The site may not perform as intended on older browsers that no longer receive updates.

5. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain, and we would rather name them than leave them undiscovered.

Vitality Green, the brand's primary colour, is used for headings, large text and accents across the site, including in some body copy on white and Mist backgrounds. Measured against the website's actual white and Mist surfaces, Vitality Green gives a contrast ratio of 3.82:1 on white and 3.56:1 on Mist — below the 4.5:1 ratio WCAG 2.1 sets for body text, though above the 3:1 ratio it sets for large text and interface boundaries.

This is a deliberate brand decision, not an oversight: Vitality Green is core to how Eugenol is recognised, and the shortfall is small enough that most readers are unaffected. Readers with reduced contrast sensitivity may still find body copy set in this colour harder to read on these backgrounds. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time task. We will continue to improve the website over time, and we will update this statement as our accessibility measures develop and as issues are identified and resolved.

9. Governing law

This statement is provided in the context of the laws of India, including the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Any dispute arising in connection with it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
